I. Preparation before installation

1. Learn the Panel Function

These series equipment have two types according to frame---holistic type and separate type. There aremany models according to different power for each kind. Please remember the relative panel functions by heart according to the frame and power model.

Panel Function Table


Name 

Function 

Display meter of power and voltage

Display the volts direct current.

Display meter of oscillating current

Under heating conditions it will fluctuate between 0-800. Under the stop condition, it shows “0”. It shows the trend of power is high or low, increased or decreased.  

Power control button

Under heating condition adjust this button can accommodate the power to reach your requirement for heating temperature and speed. 

Alarm indicator lamp for water temperature

If this indicator lamp is on parts is too hot and water temperature is too high.

Alarm indicator lamp for hydraulic pressure

When the water pressure of the cooling water is too low or lacks water, this indicator lamp will be on.

Alarm indicator lamp for over-current 

When this indicator lamp is on the temperature is too high and Inter-turn short circuit occurs in the inductor. Please turn off the equipment and examine it immediately.

Alarm indicator lamp for over-voltage

When this indicator lamp is on the supply voltage exceeds the regulated range.

Heating and stop button 

Press it to heat and loosen it to stop.

remote control 

It is used to connect the remote control switch or foot switch to achieve remote control.

Over-current restoration

Release from the over current condition.

Power supply switch

This switch is the control power supply switch. Press it to switch on and loosen to switch off.

Manual and automatic

Turn on this switch can transform the manual or automatic condition.

Time control

Set the heating time(WH-30).

Time restoration

Press it to start timing again(WH-30).

2. Power supply requirement and wiring

Range of input voltage:

16KW-----single-phase: 180-240V  

26KW, 50KW, 80KW, 120KW, 160KW, 260KW-----three-phase four-wire system: 320-420V

Don’t connect in wrong way for of causing damaging to the equipment. While mains voltage exceeds limit,please don’t turn on the equipment.

 

Wire: These series products are of equipment with high power, so please ensure enough wire and reliablewiring to prevent the connection point from generating severe heat due to high contact resistance and joint current. Please choose specification of power cord referring to the following table 1. The power cord is a kind ofcopper core with withstands voltage 500V.

²       The equipment must be reliable earth connection according to the requirement. The framemust be reliable protective bonding to neutral. It is strictly prohibited to connect the ground wire with the water supply pipe. 

²       The line must be setting by the professional person according to the nation wiring rules.The power supply final stage must install relative air-break switch.

²       Please shut off the power cord when you don’t use the equipment.

 

3. Requirement for cooling water

The inner of equipment and inductor must be cooled down with clean water to prevent the cooling pipefrom blocking. If the equipment supplies water with pump, please install filter screen at pump intake. Temperature of cooling water shall not be higher than 45℃ or it will lead to equipment alarm even overheating damage.Please see table 2 for detailed requirement.

II.Method of Installation

 

Please install according to obvious marks on both sides of the panel. Please install according to thefollowing sketch map if you have any problem.

1. Installation of inductor: For holistic type the inductor connect with secondaryjoint of main control tank directly; for separate please connect the inductor with transformer well and guarantee good contact. The interface of the transformer and inductor should have no water leakage.

2. Connection of cooling water: The inlet and outlet pipe should be connected reliablyaccording to the tablet indication on the engine case. Please make sure that there are no wrong connection, aleak phenomena and seeper in chassis. Please do not sprinkle water into chassis. If it happens please cut off thepower supply and drying it.       

3. Connect to earth: The frame must be reliable protective bonding to neutral withmore than 6mm2 copper wires for three-phase four-line system. It should comply with the standard of electric work.

4. Please connect feet switch with the interface of remote control switch.

5. For separate type induction heating equipment please connect the main control tankwith the transformer as the line number accordingly. Please connect the induction coil joint with the transformer secondary joint.

 

III.Turn on and Operation

 

1. Please choose appropriate induction coil according workpiece heated.

2. Turn on cooling water, examine flux and press of water to make sure them achieverequired area. 

3. Turn on the power supply. It is single-phase 220V 50-60Hz for 16KW type and three-phase380V  50-60Hz for others.

A Open the control switch of the front panel of the equipment and switch on powersupply.

I Put the workpiece into the induction coil and then step on the feet switch tostart heating.

II Adjust the power control knob to make the heating speed achieve technics requirement.

III Loosen the feet switch after heating finish and then take out the workpiece.

IV Stop heating and close power supply switch and the air-break switch on the switchboardafter all    completed.

IV.Operation Precautions

 

1. Please ensure the casing connects to earth in accordance with the standard of electricwork to prevent from electric shock.

2. Dismantle and installation of inductor must be done after stopping heating.

3. Firstly connect the equipment with water and then connect it with power. The innerof equipment and inductor must be cooled down with clean water to prevent the cooling pipe from blocking. If the equipment supplies water with pump, please install filter screen at pump intake. Temperature of cooling watershall not be higher than 37℃ with water flux 10T/h (It is better to use intenerated water), or else will lead to equipment alarm even overheating damage.

4. The equipment must be avoided insolation, drench, dampness and dust. Please carrythe serving and maintenance after power off one hour.  

5. Please make sure the induction coil is clean to avoid short circuit between theturns of inductors.

6. The equipment cannot use loop inductor, which will make inductive reactance toolow and lead to damage of equipment. Under special circumstance, please consult with manufacturer.

7. The cooling water must be clean without impurity. It is prohibited to be shortof water under work condition. Please set a filter at the entrance of suction stroke.

8. Descale the waterway of equipment with the detergent (we supply it) every fourmonths. Please clean immediately when the alarm indicator lamp for water temperature is on frequently or water current from the out water gap is decreased patently.

9. Clean the inner of equipment: Blow it clean with compressed air or blowing machine.Clean the circuit board with brush and then blow it. 

10. Inductor connect board must be polished with a sand paper to keep good electricalconductivity if you replace inductor.

 

V.Troubles and Settlements
